Passing on my love for all things Mexican to my little family is one of my favorite things to do. I am so lucky to have married someone that is so interested in my culture (especially the food) and language. We are making it a priority to speak spanish to baby O so that she can be bilingual, and so far she is really excelling in both languages. It is such an experience to watch this little baby absorb everything around her like a little sponge. It melts my heart to hear her sing the traditional songs I grew up singing in Mexico and it makes me feel a little closer to home.
